Graduate of GSCM RANEPA joined the Board of Directors of the Central Bank

At one of the last meetings of the State Duma, the deputies approved the new composition of the board of directors of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Prior to the meeting the candidacy of Ruslan Vesterovsky was agreed with President Vladimir Putin.

Chairman of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina noted that Ruslan Vesterovsky will be responsible for personnel management policy, organizational development, as well as for improving the internal efficiency of the country`s main regulator.

Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma`s Committee on Financial Markets, said that its members carefully considered the candidates for several hours. They unanimously decided that all applicants are professional and responsible people. According to the federal law "On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation", the term of office of new members of the board of directors will be five years.

Ruslan Vesterovsky was born on March 14, 1980 in Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Republic of Buryatia.

In 2002 he graduated from the socio-psychological faculty of the Buryat State University. After graduation, he successfully completed his studies at the Graduate School of Corporate Management of the RANEPA, received an MBA from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation and the German Academy of Economics and Management (AFW), a diploma from the Institute of Directors of Great Britain.

From 2002 to 2005 he held various HR positions in Yukos-RM (Eastern Siberia, Far East, Mongolia).

Since 2003 , he led the city youth public organization "City Association of Students".

From 2005 to 2007 he was the Human Resources Director of the largest manufacturer of cosmetic products ARNEST Group

In 2007 , he got a job at Wimm-Bill-Dann Foodstuffs as a Human Resources Director.

In 2011 he joined the Moscow Exchange. Among his main achievements over the years of work in the holding are the integration of the RTS and MICEX teams, the setting up of a modern HR function, the introduction of advanced practices for assessing and motivating employees.

In 2015 , he headed the department of personnel policy and ensuring work with the personnel of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Speaker and moderator of professional HR conferences: HarvardBusinessReview, Vedomosti, General Director, HR Director, PwC, KPMG, IBM. Member of the advisory council of the Federal Property Management Agency, he was involved in the development and implementation of HR standards and technologies in the department`s activities. According to the 16th annual rating "Top-1000 Russian Managers" compiled by the Association of Managers and Kommersant Publishing House, he entered the top five HR directors in the country`s financial sector.

In 2017 Ruslan Vesterovsky became Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia, curator of the work of the main real estate department and the department of expertise, methodology and control of procurement of the Central Bank.
